THOMAS JEFFERSON WISDOM OF WAR

The third United States president considered the observance of morals of great importance to the interests of peaceable nations, among who I hope America is one.  Nonetheless, in the present state of things, war is not worth a war.

Dear Ones,

Thomas Jefferson wrote "I do not believe war the most certain means of enforcing morals.  These peaceable concerns which are in the power of every nation, if undertaken in concert and in time of peace are more likely to produce the desired effect.


Today, for the first time, the United State's present administration is attempting negotiation and diplomacy instead of futile serial criminal wars.
