The Geneva Convention outlawed chemical weapons including gassing human beings years ago, just as nuclear proliferation is banned. But law and order must go back to the source. Any nation producing and distributing these inhumane monstrosities must also have punitive action taken against them. Such arms trades are all part of the genocide. And these countries know who they are. To make such laws work, the villains must be held responsible with all nations included in International Law and its Court as long as they are on Earth. President Clinton accepted International Law. But President Busy banned it, since he committed a war crime in Iraq–attacking a sovereign nation that never attacked the US. and bombing urban war zones where children play and die. Any person who commits a crime has no choice in whether to be punished or not on this planet. Otherwise, complete utter insanity would reign! And how about no wars at all killing mostly youths and women who grieve over their lost children for lifetimes. Sweden is the happiest nation in the world. How many wars have they waged lately?
As a historian aware of American egregious racist behavior, one other issue enters my mind. What if thirty African children from nation were gassed–would the same decision immediately take place as to what happened to Syrian children?
