We all make our own choice of which type of government we respect the most. But  war departments deny us us the choice by controlling administrations and talking them into committing the endless serial crime of war, which is defenseless.  The commanders in charge  choose wars since this is their job and are paid according. Always consider the source.

Dear Ones,

War economies not only cost lives of young combatants but also trillions of dollars for weaponry and support of military families.  But they must pay good salaries with as much or more perks than the military has, because there is more funds and making peace is fore difficult than committing aggression–with war corporations not the recipients.  Just as the tobacco industry had to diversify, so must the war department sincet the majority of the world wants peace.

Peace economies do not cost lives of soldiers and do not cost tax payers trillions of dollars.  The environment benefits as well without industrial  smoke stack emissions and nuclear waste dumped on other nation's property which adds to the war friction.

Thr powerful war department governs our lives as it forces lethal war emissions down our throats every day with passing cray clouds overhead.  Earth and all life are engulfed in the accumulation of greenhouse gases.  Some of us gasp metaphorically and others in reality for breath in billowing smoke from arsonists of all kinds, under the false face of war.

Dear Ones,

It's time for a reminder of lyrics I composed several decades ago.  My new words of the Peace Hymn of the Republic reflect war in the fast lane.  Julia Ward Howe wrote words for the Battle Hymn of the Republic during the Civil War when she was aghast by the human slaughter of troops dying and maimed at a camp near Washington, D.C.  My lyrics flow like this:

Mine eyes have seen the mis'ry of war's terrible swift sword,
As troops trample through the vineyards where the grapes of wrath are stored.
They have seen the fatal lightnin ' of war's terrible swift sword.
      Huzzah! Peace is marching on.

      Glory, glory Earth and peace; glory, glory Earth and peace;
Glory glory Earth and peace; and universal love.

This excerpt has more verses and are included in one of my earlier posts.  My alternative words are also included in my book CRY FOR PEACE

The largest corporate war manufacturer, Lockheed Martin, is "trading at record prices to reap rewards from escalating military conflicts around the world with missiles, drones and other weapons" of mass destruction.

Dear Ones,

Jack Ablin, chief investment officer at Chicago based BMO Private Bank, who oversees $66 billion including Northrop Grumman and Boing shares, said:

"As we ramp up our military muscle in the Mideast, there's a sense that demand for military equipment and weaponry will likely rise" –a good opportunity for the elite.

The following tongue-in-cheek text is a prayer for total annihilation by world-wide corporate war departments.

"Oh God over all the Earth, give us strength and conviction in our every twisted thoughts and manipulations of our blood-stained hands.  Give us perversion to manufacture and invent the most dreadful ways to torture and kill our foe–woe to us all.

Make these measures even more violent than the Inquisition and its gruesome court of "justice"–church and state working in coalition.  Insure us that beastly cohorts and corporate masters of war together with the ancient Tower of London can benefit to the up most, as well as all radical extremists ignorant of their own good, wholesome ideals.

May we  continue to contaminate Earth, our only source for life, with endless aggression that mainly harms innocent children as well as women who grieve in anguish over sons and daughters killed and maimed in combat–after giving birth to their loved ones.

Holy of the most holys, see that all future children will be deformed from lethal chemical and radioactive munitions and so-called depleted uranium manufactured from nuclear waste dumped in foreign lands and shot around the world. Keep ammo factories going so that  babies are born with missing legs, arms and organs hanging outside of their little bodies. May some even have cyclop  eyes and two heads, making decapitation even more enjoyable to mindless terrorists.

And please be sure that the culprits of war lose their god-given minds that provide them with quilt for what they do.  May each warped conscience of evil be numb to their inhumane actions.

Lord of all hosts may our weather and climate also go berserk through centuries of poisonous explosions, accumulation of chemical and radioactive munitions causing greenhouse gases to heat oceans, polar ice to melt and toxic emissions to choke us all. Keep the winds of war to go around and around–in the air, on the land and in the seas that provide us with so much.

War master of us all, may we continue our religious mission to slaughter our fellow men, women and children–the satanic history of man on a planet that needs to be capitalized for respect.  May we all foam at the mouth and gnash our teeth to keep war fuming and may the devil be with all–those who connive and plan for cunning warfare that is fair to no one.  And especially, keep war economies going, for they strain happiness from all life.

In the name of who or what created us all."

Musician Michael Franti whose band is "Spearhead," came up with the best wisdom of all.

"You can bomb the world to pieces, but you can't bomb ito into peace!"

I have spent decades collecting world-wide pro-peace quotations of the astute–my post called "Zillions of Voices for Peace" and "Songbirds and Peace"–Angels for Peace."  Michael Franti stated his passion most succinctly for sustained international peace.

Dear Ones,

Perhaps if wonderful peace-loving authorities in the United States government would deliver water, coffee beans and doughnuts to the foe and suffering refugees caused by the foe, would the terrorists  still hate the US as much as they do?  Seriously, though, ancient wisdom says you can make more friends and headway with honey than you can with vinegar–the truth of the pudding.

Backward corporate nations are still using old-fashioned deformity bombs filled with toxic chemicals and radioactive waste that just piss people and Earth off because they are the biggest cause of global warming as well as what kills their families.''

When America was attacked during the Bush administration bombs were not used.  Instead it was an alternative that totally took Americans by surprise.  And there is no safety in surprise.  Therefore a strong coalition of nations against extremist religion should be using the very best sources for political action and good ways to attract young people instead of provoking them into aggression.  T

It is not weaponry that we should fear.  It is vicious hatred of rival religions in which young people are hoodwinked into man-made rules of a heaven that is the figment of human imagination,  Centuries of slaughter that always cause endless slaughter only increase violence and terrorism.

Military strategy only lasts until the gun smoke clears as it again rises from another location. Government coffers from tax payers should be used  against diseases, such as ebola, instead of lethal arsenals.  It is up to the strength of the people to stop government war economies, the source of the violence. Nations that produce deadly ammo and weapons often have the same munitions blown back to them.  Boomerangs are what is to be feared.

For political power the world needs to educate young people so they are undaunted and strong enough to resist  poisonous words they are being taught out of ignorance.  Man-made cults aggravate their gods who would never bomb their own creations as war departments do.

Only through dedicated political diplomacy, sincere negotiation and secular education will wars cease.  Each nation themselves must also defend themselves with harmonious means and education. Good will is the most powerful force on Earth, one planet for all.

Be peace strong!

One of the worst tragedies of war are refugees fleeing the foe to foreign borders. At this moment I am watching with the rest of the world live battle at the Syrian-Turkish boundary.  Here representive Kurds and Syrian refugees are cheering the anti-Isis forces as if they were at a football game.  Iraqi refugees also flee  brutal warriors attempting to kill off their fellow related Abrahamic warriors in order to control their beliefs in an inhumane way–all violent and full of terrorism,

Dear One,

Today TV allows us to witness with our own eyes horrifying trace bullets, missiles and bombs being blasted land near Turkey and Syria.  Refugees running from air attacks in Iraq, too, are in fear of their lives.

Religious turmoil going on for centuries among the three Abrahamic faiths involes "lone sheep" who gather together to support similar young male leaders who have joined forces with radical, etremist beliefs that are aniti-humane.  This savage behavior also stabs the souls of the eulprits exterminating rival religionists.

The terrorists are naive and follow cults who oppose the good teaching of leaders representing Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths.  These young violators of human rights are gullible about the dark side of extremist ideology.  Sadly misguided  young men teaming up with others who will feel guilt, consciously or subliminally, will spend the rest of their lives in nightmares from the bloody action of their own hands,

Worldwide war departments do not provide security of any kind.  They do the opposite.  Throughout history great men and women have admitted that war brings nothing but chaos, vengeance and insecurity through hatred of their lands bombed by foreign missiles that often boomerang from rival related religions back to the originators.

Dear Ones,

Some of the greatest world doctors, poets and scientists have reiterated these words against wars that never end:

"That many good men have believed strange fables and lived very good lives under that belief), is what I have no doubt of.  They were educated to believe it, and they would have believed anything else in the same manner."–Thomas Paine, The Age of Reason

"Two contrary laws stand today: one a law of blood and death which, inventing daily by means of combat, obliges the nations to never be prepared for battle [9-ll], the other a law of peace, of labor . . . One looks only for violent conquest; the other for the relief of suffering humanity.  The one would sacrifice hundreds of thousands of lives at the ambition of a single individual; and the other places a single human life above all victories.  The law of which we are their instruments single human essays even in the midst of carnage to heal the wounds caused by the law of war."–Louis Pasteur, opening speech of Pasteur Institute.

"Bayonets and swords must first retreat . . . and lastly, will be transferred to the museum of the curious as poisoning and torture are at this day, and on into our own."–Ralph Waldo Emerson

"It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but murder. . . . The wold is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing. . . . The promise of a warless world are the young people who refuse military service."–Albert Einstein

TOXIC CHILD-DEFORMING AMMO DROPPED ON URBAN WAR ZONES ALREADY ILLEGAL BY INTERNATIONAL LAW–but authoriities are too intimidated to enforce International Criminal Court (ICC)

War Departments and terrorist groups that commit aggression are responsible to International Law since all nations and organizations reside on the same planet.

Military war economies are also accountable for corporate lethal chemical/radioactive munitions destroying Earth and all the living. Terrorism and violence in the hands of religious extremists are ruling the world as it is funded by other extremists reckless with power.

Dear Ones,
Hugo Grotius, the father of International Law in the 1600s, was not only intuitive of how weaponry and its explosive emissions would keep increasing larger and more powerful over centuries, but also was aware of the fact that such a monstrous arsenal would eventually cause Earth and all life to halt by our only planet's breaking point–the only one that is responsible for all our needs.

Thank goodness President Obama has announced recognition of how corporate government has been listening to military warmongers instead of humanitarian leaders concerned over conserving the environment.

On September 23, 2014 (around international peace day) he has proclaimed that radical drastic climate and weather change are the result of the industrial war age pumping out gross amounts of man-made explosions together with other contamination from factories polluting air, water and land. This pollution is the largest reason for the warming of oceans as outdated radioactive nuclear submarines are dumped into bodies of water as well as seven H-bombs and all other waste matter. Accumulative poisonous emissions over centuries of time have also been culprits.

Carbon black powder explosives have caused more carbon dioxide than nature can handle. Wars are the world's largest gas and oil guzzlers, what I keep repeating for emphasis in my posts. Precious Earth is one of a kind in the realm of our knowledge.

Let's not continue to spoil it for the spoils of war. Now that alternative natural energy is making its mark versus dinosaur fuels. vehicles are already fueled by electricity. Present-day warfare is absolutely out of the question. The lust for war oil is an obsolete, obscene cause.

We the people must take hold of our own lives and not let evil totalitarians provoke men into beheading and slaying one another in the name of their own rival gods. No good god would require such savagery as a creator, whoever or whatever is the source of our very existence.

Today extremist groups are mimicking the archaic Inquisition, with the government and one religion publicly executing and burning alive at the stake non-believers of their contrived ideologies. Those who follows such brutal savagery also are terrorists with no assurance they will ever be rewarded in the afterlife.

We must dominate and be present in our own lives for we are the greatest source of security–our own wisdom and knowledge and not that of man-made political power warped by fanatical persuasions. We must all be part of a united coalition that does not enable or accept any other than justified law and order enforced by International Law, the United Nations, Nato and all institutes and individuals who care about life. liberty and the inherent right of happiness.

Empiric Cruce created Nouveau Cyne's publication in 1623 (Thomas Willing Blanch's translation) concerning international arbitration for a world peace coalition, chaired by the Venetian pope. In 1638 the Duc de Sully published his first volumes on behalf of world concord. Attempting to reduce the strength of the Hapsburgs (or Habsburgs), he drew up a plan to maintain everlasting international peace. His goal was a European League of princes–for a balance of power. US President Woodrow Wilson's League of Nations (Fourteen Points) was struck down in 1919 following WWI, as he lost his health in the struggle for peace. In June 1941 the United Nations was formed. Its constitutional goal is to deter war. But "deter" is a bugaboo loophole that permits the madness of men to continue carnage against humanity–because they can do it.

 Dear Ones,

War is so ingrained in the annals of history that even throughout the age of enlightenment, this thread of peace never reached the apogee of reason–the total banning of wars. Thus eliminating a plethora of atrocities by making the villains complete pariahs, the extremist terrorists lose their power, no matter how much money they accumulate for human annihilation.

However, the accumulative burden of war pollution on all life and Earth itself is taking its greatest toll together with the increase of deaths among citizens–as well of the horrible sacrifice that youths suffer their lifetimes. Wars cannot stop terrorism neither by bombs nor by nuclear missiles. Explosives are the problem. They breed the lust for bigger and more powerful explosives and toxic emissions to the blow the world into smithereens–a

word coined during the radioactive atomic age–all to even the score during rival games of war. It has been proven quintessentially that futile wars must be outlawed through law and order. Let's all grow up. Wars are already illegal from their poisonous emissions. May the end of lethal aggression be a watershed mark of evolution.

Be peace strong.

War, be it from one ideology or another one's ingrained mentality, always takes the lives of both sides. Physical revenge erupts into madness. War departments whose expertise is war foam into gnashing teeth as their warmonger leaders' hair catches on fire. This organized serial crime and hatred against humanity lasts one generation after another. So what does a nation do to defend itself from religion oppression and suppression–violence and aggression–that rules the world with twisted vengeance? But I am talking to the wind until someday this message is heard by enough people to enforce the defense of world peace. Dear Ones, Truth cannot be told too many times. Authoritarians. spouting faucets, peddling their own persuasions as being the world's best and only one–an impossibility–must call off their dogs, so that war departments don't run rabid all over Earth. Mortals commanding people to "keep the faith" are only provoking more wars–and this includes you, dear Pope Francis. But I would still be honored in meeting you since your mission is to update your church into modern truths. So far in the history of humanity there is no record or proof of anyone entering man-made heaven, paradise, hell or even returning from any of the above. Faith is blind because it is promised by mortals. Doing research years ago I came across a so-called priest devoted to his religion. But in his will and testament he confided that in no way did he believe all the ludicrous dogma forced on his mind. I'm sure he was not alone in his thinking. A good rule of thumb is to realize, no man or nation owns the Earth, what indigenous traditionalist Americans still profess. Earth owns us, as witness Flanders fields and other cross filled cemeteries as well as the progressive ones. Earth is not powered by any one biased symbol of power. Falsehoods that send non-believers to contrived, imaginary hells as well as enabling members who accept and repeat the insanity of three related mainstream faiths each having priority of heaven over another must stop. Insidious insults and blasphemies against all other persuasions must cease. And this includes all radical extremist aggression in which youths and women suffer the most–the rape of war. Even though state leaders fear to tell the truth or for political reasons–Jews, Christians and Muslims in a sense keep the torturous vengeance on a wild merry-g-round of humans turned into beasts posing as war leaders. Religious governments, including the Vatican, fuel brutal atrocities as their hierarchies and splinter groups condemn non-believers as heretics and heathens started by the book of Leviticus 25:44 in which unbelievers must be slaves of their masters–archaic man-made text still causing multitudes to die and suffer. When wars in modern time are on the brink of "the last resort" activists instead of carrying flaming torches display placards saying "Not in my name"–not even in the name of God as past presidents have done. Dear Ones, Solon in Plutarch Lives wrote: "Equality breeds no wars." Today this means no religion has inherent power over any others. Benjamin Franklin is remembered for his shrewd words: "There never was a good war–nor a bad peace." The wisdom of great men seen through black carbon gun smoke of the ages shines on despite war departments foaming for corporate wars in war economies, often against the wishes of thinking presidents. Historically ancient turkey hawks have fooled the public into committing aggression in the name of their "Gods." "You ask who I am, who speaks this to you . . . If you had not sinned God would not have sent me hither to punish you."–Genghis Khan (1167-1227), absolutist, fundamentalist warmonger who arrogantly stood before 30,000 slain Seljuk Muslims–confident and smug about carrying out his imagined, phantom words of his "God." "By defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord . . . to bring about [anything conceived as pure Anglican heritage, which means] nothing less than sinning against the will of the Eternal Creator."–Mein Kampf, Adolf Hitler, a baptized Nazi leader who used Christian rituals to promote his evil. Consider good Mother Teresa. But she is remembered for her shining peel, not the rotting apple at its core ingrained in a history of sinister torture and brutality of one cult. The word catholic means universal, but the term is bogus regarding the Catholic church that is not universal, even though it's hierarchy preach to its totalitarian empire that it is. Dear Ones, Catholics complain about being bashed. But the church has bashed humanity ever since Peter and Paul founded it. We still repeat phrases such as "Stealing from Peter to pay Paul." and "Oh, for Pete's sake!" Perhaps the worst deadly torture is slow burning of people alive at the stake for not believing in vicious church dogma. Women were also dealt this blow as the church called certain ones witches in Europe, later transferred to America in the Christian Salem witch tribunals and human being burned at the stake. But the Catholic Church was not alone in its corrupt activity. Protestants, too, were just as cruel. Michael Servatus (15511-1553) was a scientist, theologian, physician and Renaissance humanist. He revealed pulmonary circulation. The founder of Calvinism, John Calvin, was responsible for burning this Christian alive on the stake since he promoted the Protestant Reformation. When any institution proclaims that their faith is the most holy of the holy's, it indicates faith in the unknown. Again, mesmerizing religion keeps causing bloody religious wars over absolute beliefs, what the world is witnessing today in fear, trauma and anguish. Mame helenesmith1.blog spot.com

Tom Paine and Mark Twain were the most popular satirists of their times. In the modern world comedian Bill Maher outranks all other satirists of his time, often even sardonic in his cynicism. Dear Ones, Mark Twain, also through humor, chided Americans for their obsession with gun slaughter as so many cheer when aggression is waged. Again, my husband and I were in a restaurant when the first Gulf War was announced. At the bar the young men who had never witnessed bloody combatant cheered and whistled as though war was a rip-roaring football game, with the worst physical scenario being tackled by an opponent. Sadly some of their buddies died in a bomb attack during the 14th Quartermaster attack when a team from Greensburg,PA were purifying water in Iraq. Bill Maher, from the beginning of the 2003 Bush administration invasion, attack and occupation of a nation that never waged war against the United States, has been critical of this illegal war for good reason. Mark Twain in his time wrote profound word regarding brutal, futile war. His famous War Prayer is worth repeating: "O Lord our Father,as our young patriots, idols of our hearts, go forth in battle–be Thou near them! With them!, in spirit, as we also go forth from the sweet peace of our beloved firesides to smite the foe. O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with their little children to wander unbefriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it–for our sakes who adore Thee. Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is ever faithful refuge and friend of all that. . . seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen. Paul wrote most of the New Testament  (what Christians forced upon the Hebrew Bible) and also influenced his doctor friend, Luke, to write Acts.  Paul's greatest thirst and mission was the Great Commission to go to all nations and convert the inhabitants to one absolute religion.  This persuasion caused more people to be tortured and die than any of its other two related Abrahamic religions and their controversial militant sects.

Dear Ones,

Today, even though Paul in Antioch, Asia Minor (now Turkey) founded his first church where the name Christian was a derogatory title, his Great Commission still causes gashing teeth and aggression. In later centuries the powerful Papal State with one master over all–the pope, meaning father–became all powerful until the twentieth century.  By this time the Catholic influence through its paternalistic faith was the cause of the bloody Crusades (meaning cross) and the torturous Inquisition and evil court, the Tribunal of the Church Militant.

In later years the Vatican imprisoned scientist Galileo for pointing out that the Earth goes around the Sun and imprisoned him, later with house arrest until he died. Meanwhile we all know the Sun does not revolve around Earth as Catholics were forced to believe. It is Earth that does the revolving.

During WWII at least one pope was in cahoots with Nazi Germany and its inhumane, deadly Holocaust or shoah, a Hebrew name.

The Vatican also forbade their subjects to get smallpox vaccines as many people died as a result of the ignorance. Today this monarch still hangs on to forbidden birth control, although Pope Francis is beginning to see the light.

Despite all its corruption, The Great Commission is still causing world chaos through churches and missionaries proselytizing in nations where its religion is is not wanted–in the false name of "God's command."  Besides, the world now contains thousands of varying religions and their sects, in disagreement with one another–all proclaiming they are the one and only absolute religion!

Trying to militarily destroy one radical extremist terrorist group never stopped the Catholic Church or Communism.  The best way to bring peace is through equality and justice for everyone.  So far Democracy seems to be the winner.

Today three related main stream religions have been slaughtering one another for endless centuries over absolute persuasions against themselves as well as non-believers. In addition to fighting faiths, smothering systems such as Marxist Communism and radical terrorists are still rampant.  Pure communism is equality for everyone–no super rich or extreme poor, with badly fractured corrupted Communism turned into one-party totalitarianism and cruelty at the mercy of its subjects.

Dear Ones,

Throughout history humanity has been tormented by other radical belief tactics of terrorism that fuel aggression, the bane of the world.  Communist China, however, in more recent years permits private ownership of property, a step forward for democracy.  Meanwhile the world knows from experience, the Vietnam War failed because it opposed the inherent rights of people.

The only long-range  solution against oppression and suppression is for civil uprisings of the people against their own government.  Bringing in powerful foreign armies and ragtag mercenaries to destroy radical terrorists with a mission aggravates more carnage and war veterans committing Resultant nightmare and  ravages torment those who have seen and waged the worst atrocities called war.

Combat aggression also produces refugees and pollution of other peoples lands that melt down from lust for power, control of oil and other foreign resources in disguise of well intentions. Terrorism and violence is another term for barbaric wars.

The force of threat against Communism was trumped up by big businesses with world politicians  becoming servants to the benefit of wealthy industrial war corporations wagging the dog of war economies. Wag departments continue this deadly system inventing threats with the same intentions, instead of listening to the complaints of the foe–what caused "9-11"–unwanted military bases in foreign lands where toxic weapons and ammo pollute other people's lands as they desicrate unfamiliar cultures and their  women.

From 1861 to 65 the US was entrapped in its own Civil War and its aftermath that cost over 700, 000 lives of Americans and a million horses, fought over state license to enslave human beings.  It was waged without foreign soldiers, only native born citizens,

In today's world, war combat slaughter is being committed all around the world with warriors from the beginning of mankind suffering sacrifice of their lives as scapegoats with boots on strange ground of foreign cultures that the military does not understand or care.

Any organized crime that involves civil wars against humanity and wanton animal slaughter–what war is all about–in the name of Communism or radical religious militant revenge from terrorists–is  best settled by the people most affected. Calling in foreign armies and their arsenals only spreads hatred and contempt to no avail. Mental support and medical help for the wounded is more valued by the universal public than more explosives that kill and behead civilians as well as the recruits on both sides.  Sending in troops to foreign nations to combat diseases such as ebola is humane caring at its best.

All the stockpiled ammunition and arsenals in the world will never bring complete security.  No one knows this better than the reckless military with seven H-bombs accidentally or on purpose dropped on land and sea, with outmoded radioactive submarines dumped in oceans that are warming and melting polar ice.  The Japanese feel this more than any other people.  By the way, Japan is now declared a nuclear free nation.

Dear One,

Astute leaders down through history have found the falsehood of security as a universal truth.

General (President) Dwight D. Eisenhower said it best in his own words.

"The problem of defense is how far you can go without destroying within what you are trying to defend from the without."

"I think people want peace so much that one of these days government had better get out of the way and let them have it."

"If you want total security, go to prison  There you're fed, clothed, given medical care, etc.  The only thing lacking is freedom."

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final action a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.  This world in arms is not spending money alone.  It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the geniuses of its scientists, the hopes of its children.  This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron."

Males not only have nipples but they also can get breast cancer, as most people know.  The embryo follows a female pattern that is present in both genders.  In genetics the male Y chromosome produces the hormone testosterone that makes it the final decision concerning sex characteristics.  Some men merit an impressive size bra, as we all start out the same as females.

Dear Ones,

As we begin our lives in the womb, we are equal, one gender depending upon the amount of testosterone or estrogen to make us who we are.  Ironically early men from the dawn of mammalian evolution have considered women inferior to them–the mothers who give birth to them and wives who give birth to their babies.  Why else would they as authoritarians express "all men are created equal"–and this lion king mentality did not include females.

My aunt who was a teacher and one of the first principals showed me an early contract she had to  sign.  It required women to turn their pay checks over to their brothers or husbands since male superiority ruled their primitive minds and didn't feel women were capable of handling the money.  This educational form also stated pregnancy would dismiss a teacher from employment.

Fortunately today women have gained equal stature or at least prominence in which they can no longer be controlled by men who refluse female inherent rights as human beings.  Suffragists for decades marched and were imprisoned to gain this equal standing with men.  Women are well aware of the suffering that our ancestors endured for centuries on end.

But now more than ever before women are free to follow their instinctive sense for a collective voices against wars.  In 2002 Capital District Women organized against the Bush Administration's Iraqi War.  Women not only raised their voices but fasted with hope that men would realize the futility of their actions.

In California an open letter that included the concern for Muslim women was composed against the aggression.  This force of women made it known that the history of wars were wars against youths and females because they were the ones who suffered the most and for the longest period of time.  Today women know machismo men glorify combat as they are obsessed by guns and weapons that deforming their own babies.

International war departments must respect other people's lands that are constantly being bombarded with weapons instead of rhetoric and diplomacy to understand foreign cultures.  Radical religious  extremists are also at fault when their men savagely murder and cowardly blame their God for the atrocities–mostly agaaist  soldier youths, correspondents and women.

Tit for tat, it is women who will eventually bring about  Buddhist peace that passeth all understanding.

Nurtous women are more interested in safety than wars that threaten their families.  Gays are more into  exciting arts than bloody wars that cripple their bodies and minds for life when they and their buddies die from terrorism and violence of genocide provoked by worldwide war departments wagging the dogs.

If deities were goddesses and gays, what a wonderful transformation there would be for international peace and good health!  There would be no retaliation from terrorism and counter terrorism.  There would be 84 percent less contamination from corporate munitions causing an overload of carbon, with the armed forces the worst gas guzzlers.

What is more, the world's soldiers would not bring forth deformed babies from handling toxic chemicals and radioactive missiles, as their environment is especially polluted with resultant  poisonous emissions.

But this is only a dream, a fantasy of happiness–what brings on laughter and a feeling of well-being. After all is said and committed it's a smile that makes us beautiful.  Terrorists live in fear of their own lives and their grimaces reflect not only hatred but especially unfulfilled lives that only know how to kill, torture and be controlled by warped leaders.  Any heaven that would permit offenders of such atrocities would be a disguise for hell.

Ever since the beginning of humanity men have waged aggression that brought nothing but grief and anguish along with the lust for  spoils of war.  Now it's time for women to wage peace.

Years ago I was among five fifers and drummers supporting a Civil War  re-enactment group along with  other musicians in Virginia–the site of a savage battle. After the action we visited the plantation house on the property.  The docent was from Atlanta, GA.  During the tour she spoke very harshly about General Sherman's march to the sea.

Dear Ones,

Civil War bitterness over the loss of ancestors and the devastation to the land with thousands of soldiers and animals killed along the way was locked into her soul and DNA.  Spreading flames and shades of  dark billowing gun smoke left smoldering ruins that smoldered in her mind.

Terrorism is more than skin deep.  It continues for generations that remember their own war victims.  Blow-back still causes violence in hateful retaliation.

Any shallow thinking war department, euphemized to "defense," commits terrorism to squelch terrorism. Where are international peace departments to compete with worldwide war departments? The most lasting defense is communication and diplomacy–with the fountain heads of religion causing the slaughter and inhumanity in dire need of teaching tolerance for one another instead of uncivil inhumanity.  Authoritarians must call off their dogs and dogma.  Good gods promote peace, not war.

Above all, peace departments and peace economies must balance the masters of aggression whose goal for a temporary peace is to slash and burn.  Nothing is more needed than masters of peace.  The strength of a peace department would never have condoned Sherman's March of devastation, now a song that many fifers and drummers refuse to play, as terrorism breeds black roots that penetrate deeply.

Within the Air Force a chaplain wrote steps to a flag ceremony in the 1980s.  It is unofficial but it spread nation-wide, especially among the American Legion.  Another member in more recent times insisted that such bigotry be abolished from the instructions of this armed service flag ritual.  However, even recent traditions die slowly.

Dear Ones,

Despite the urgent need to keep church and state separate, several ceremonial flag folds reflect the Judeo-Christian influence still manifest in the United States military. One fold honors "the one who entered into the valley of the shadow of death," such as Jesus of Nazareth in Syria where the great prophet walked on the Damascus Road.

Another fold "in the eyes of a Hebrew citizen, presents the lower portion of  the seal of King David and  King Solomon, and glorifies, in their eyes, the God of Abraham, Isaac and  Jacob."

Several folds include "in God we trust" what was added to the Pledge of Allegiance by a clerical member of Congress in the 1950s.  It is a wonder some zealot in power doesn't suggest adding the same-across- the-board term to death certificates to make sure the deceased get into a man-made heaven.

The final fold stands for the Christian Trinity–"the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost"–as the flag  graphically depicts the Celtic triquetra, a "holy triangle."  Even the Revolutionary tri-cornered hat is styled in the form of a triangle resembling this religious symbol. This was prior to the formation of the new government.

Early colonists formed many religious blue laws that are still on the books today.  One forbade a man driving a noisy, rickety goat cart to pass in front of a church during service hours.  God help us.!

Reminder: September 21,  day of international peace for home, community and nation

This is the nature of the beast.  During the Vietnam War toxic Agent Orange herbicide defoliated and contaminated foreign lands as many soldiers wives' gave birth to babies without arms, legs and vital organs.  Lethal war exterminators also caused Gulf War syndrome and malformed kids of those handling the explosives producing mutations that continue to deform one generation after another.

Dear Ones,

How sad must be the wives of the extremists threatening world devastation with massive poisons that boomerang back to their own offspring.  In Portugal during wartime the wives of the warriors stuck bouquets of flowers in the business ends of the cannons.  And what was their point!

In Poland thousands of peace pinwheels are made annually to remind the world that international peace is the best defense.  Exterminating poisons only create more pollution in the air, water and on Earth, capitalized for respect.

Dear Ones,

Will the projected three more years of unending religious wars bring an end to any hydra with tentacles that when broken off only produce double the amount?  "Revenge is mine sayeth the Lord!"

On the other hand, how does any nation stop extremists causing violence and  terrorism?  Perhaps it is through their religious leaders calming the waters of tolerance and bringing sanity to a world by making it civilized.  Obviously praying for peace hasn't worked for endless centuries.  It is the voices of the faithful who must teach harmony instead of blood shed.

Twenty years ago the United Nations established this special time, a gigantic step for global harmony and non-violence in homes, commuities and among all nations.

Dear Ones,

Do you think this will ever happen?  Historically great leaders emphasize world-wide peace that will only dawn when we all beam sunlight instead of anger and hatred.  It can only start with each of us.  Those who commit violence against others reflect ugly faces that internally cause havoc on their own heart and other organs.  Militant aggression reaps combat distress in a battlefield.  In Flanders field the poppies grow among the crosses row upon row. . . .

Happiness is only achieved through positive thoughts and deeds. No woman wants  her husband to kill youths, what brings revenge on her own children.  The hand that slaughters with the force of revenge brings back revenge like a boomerang.  It is not a loving, caressing hand.

Even child-deforming munitions and weapons often come back to the original producers, as they explode and decimate the manufacturers children along with the others.  Militant weaponry is often confiscated in any conflict–the spoils of war.

Today a lone glacial rock still serves birds near Cannelton, PA.  While working on the Guidebook to Historic Western Pennsylvania (University of Pittsburgh Press) I crawled over a rickety bridge to reach a unique 5 X 4 rock on top of a high hill–Painter's Knobat–to photograph it for the book.

At the foot of the hill is Little Beaver Creek.  According to legend an eccentric itinerant carved the rock and also laid a line of boulders across the stream.  This huge bird bath and feeder was designed to resemble a human head with round holes for eyes and a square mouth for holding water.

Dear Ones,

Not until yesterday when I was eating a tart apple did it occur to me decades after the book was published that Johhny Appleseed (John Chapman) probably made this tribute to the birds.  He was a vegetarian, loved animals and was disturbed when anyone treated them cruelly.

As a member of the Swedenborgian Church, he preached along the way as he slept in the woods and built fires for warmth and cooking.  He avoided interupting the lives of his fellow creatures he saw along the way.

Both he and the unknown eccentric itinerant were interested in agriculture and nurseries.  Chapman wore a tin pan for a hat, makeshift clothing and walked in his bare feet as he spread apple seeds on his journey.

Chapman never married and spent his life planting seeds in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and West Virginia. He died in 1845.  The stone was carved in the 1800s.  I really think the mysterious stone mason was Johnny Appleseed.

Warped religious warriors proclaim heaven to their underlings for decapitating and torturing fellow human beings.  But in reality it is demonic murder that they provoke and hell for themselves as they also inflict hell on others. The universal golden rule is, "Do not do to others what you do not want others to do to you"–especially encouraged by the wisdom of Confucius, Buddha, Jesus and Mohammad;.

Dear Ones,

Back to my blog after the adventure of moving.

This post title is reminiscent of early coal barons who told their miners "the harder you work the sooner you will get to heaven"–pie in the sky when you die. They also forbade them from buying any item from any place other than their own retail store.  This reminds me of the song sung by Tennessee Ernie Ford I Owe My Soul to the Company Store.

Religious leaders play the same game by inventing the rules and pretend the bogus laws come from the great creator over all life–whatever or whoever that is.  So far no one knows.  They continue to hoodwink the naive into believing everything they hear and read is the sacrosanct truth.

The American writer William James wrote, "Religion is a monumental chapter in the history of human egotism." These dictators are demonic.  They mesmerize others into to doing the dirty work for them.  These leaders are not worthy of any paradise.  Slaughter does not remove sins.  Changing the heart to make a better world is worth silver, gold and peace of mind. Only deep-seated guilt results from evil actions.

It was the great doctor Albert Schweitzer who believed in the reverence of all life.  He followed the inherent culture of First Americans–indigenous traditionalists who do not subscribe to any law or dogmatic persuasion.  They are the original gatekeepers of the land they respect and adore.

It is the radical promoters of brutality whose religious mission is to control militants for their own power.  A real god, short for good, is to make a paradise of Earth, not a Hell!

The words of Suleyman Demirel, former prime minister, president and leader of the Justice Party in Turkey, is in a sense a golden rule.  Benjamin Franklin, world traveler, reflects the same. "There never was a good war or a bad peace."

Dear Ones,

If memory serves me, in the 1980s I among five other fifers and drummers led a procession at Carnegie Music Hall in Pittsburgh (Oakland suburb).  It was in honor of Suleyman Demorel who was receiving an honorary degree in the US.  I shall never forget his words–"War will not bring good to any country.".

About thirty years ago I painted a picture of a lavender hyacinth with a muted ghost-like figure behind it. Only recently in making my final move from one state to another did I realize that an ancient Persian poem (in what is now Iran) had been the inspiration for my watercolor that I had forgotten and was not uncovered.  Sa'adi Shirazi's poem, extolling Muslim virtues and written in the 1300s, was vicariously the inspiration.

Dear Ones,

James Terry White had written his poem, in part quoted on my painting, with the same theme in 1907.  It's opening line goes like this:

"If thy of mortal goods are bereft and in thy store there are but left two loaves,
sell one and with the dole, buy hyacinths to feed  thy soul."

Sa'di himself wrote:

All human beings in truth are akin,
When fate allots a member pangs and pains,
If, unperturbed, another's grief canst scan,
All in creation share one origin,
No case for other members then remains,
That are not worthy of the name of man.

In this world of beauty shot with terrorism and violence, perhaps our past can inspire militant devastation to metamorphose into harmony inspired by nature.

All through history women have sought means to sooth their souls from the anguish of their lost sons and daughters in endless bloody warrior decapitation either from humans or bombs–all done in revenge.  In grief and sorrow women have stuffed cannons the world over with flowers instead of gun powder and swords.

A great man once told me nations can win victories, but peace is a more difficult achievement.  Radical leaders with the most radioactive, chemical and black powder missiles spreading the world in poisons can be victorious but they can't win world harmony.  Mohandas Mahatma Gandhi, the great man who sacrificed his life in fasting for world peace, said, "My life is my message."  But one of the most powerful thoughts he expressed was,

"I object to victory because  when  it appears to do good the good is only temporary; and the evil it does is permanent. "

Beyond the cost of precious life, beyond the dawn of nature and all its bounty, beyond the endless accumulation of contamination is not only the death of all life but also the demise of Earth that provides us all with sustenance.

Gandhi also said, "Anger and intolerance are the enemies of correct understanding." Radical ideologies may kill and behead men, but good leadership is in getting along with others, not the force of militant, ruthless monsters.  We are all in kinship with one another, even though the most sinister ones cause the grossest cruelty.  It was both Genghis Khan and Adolf Hitler who used religion and their God to support their most horrendous deeds.

Dear Ones,

Gandhi believed that each one of us must be the change for us to see a better world.  And non-violence us the greatest force of mankind.

The lust of land and its natural resources–such as toxic dinosaur oil that the world kills for–Gandhi's wisdom is in "health is worth more than pieces of gold and silver."  A word to the wise is sufficient.

England separated its American colonies. The individual states were depicted as–"these states of America are fighting the British."  After the Revolutionary War they were referred to as the United States is no longer fighting the British."  The key word is "united."

Following the Civil War, the colonies never again bombed each other over politics or religion.

Dear Ones,

The US embraces thousands of ideologies–one nation still striving for freedom and equality for all.  But at least the feds are not bombing any particular political group within the nation. We all belong to one central government with one capitol building.

One section of this nation of a thousands or more persusions isn't all Jewish.   Another section isn't all Christian and the third one in the endless circle of fire isn't all Muslim.  America's unique government is not targeting any of  these sects that internationally become radical separtists.

This fact alone proves one nation can get together in harmony and peace for all its citizens. And for this we all can rejoice. Long live America. May her guiding light be ever so strong and our politicans at peace with the world.

The US Civil War brought about the abolition of slavery.  But bigotry over different human species is still rampant.  The father of racism in the 1700s fueled Nazi Germany into believing its ethnic superiority in the so-called master race. This falsehood let to human extermination.

Dear Ones,

One man's separation of humanity into divisive colors still rules the world in an endless circle of  flames. Why don't we get it?
