We all make our own choice of which type of government we respect the most. But war departments deny us us the choice by controlling administrations and talking them into committing the endless serial crime of war, which is defenseless. The commanders in charge choose wars since this is their job and are paid according. Always consider the source.
Dear Ones,
War economies not only cost lives of young combatants but also trillions of dollars for weaponry and support of military families. But they must pay good salaries with as much or more perks than the military has, because there is more funds and making peace is fore difficult than committing aggression–with war corporations not the recipients. Just as the tobacco industry had to diversify, so must the war department sincet the majority of the world wants peace.
Peace economies do not cost lives of soldiers and do not cost tax payers trillions of dollars. The environment benefits as well without industrial smoke stack emissions and nuclear waste dumped on other nation's property which adds to the war friction.
Thr powerful war department governs our lives as it forces lethal war emissions down our throats every day with passing cray clouds overhead. Earth and all life are engulfed in the accumulation of greenhouse gases. Some of us gasp metaphorically and others in reality for breath in billowing smoke from arsonists of all kinds, under the false face of war.
Dear Ones,
It's time for a reminder of lyrics I composed several decades ago. My new words of the Peace Hymn of the Republic reflect war in the fast lane. Julia Ward Howe wrote words for the Battle Hymn of the Republic during the Civil War when she was aghast by the human slaughter of troops dying and maimed at a camp near Washington, D.C. My lyrics flow like this:
Mine eyes have seen the mis'ry of war's terrible swift sword,
As troops trample through the vineyards where the grapes of wrath are stored.
They have seen the fatal lightnin ' of war's terrible swift sword.
Huzzah! Peace is marching on.
Glory, glory Earth and peace; glory, glory Earth and peace;
Glory glory Earth and peace; and universal love.
This excerpt has more verses and are included in one of my earlier posts. My alternative words are also included in my book CRY FOR PEACE
