This United Nation's country with its blue, gold and red flag is located between Ukraine and Romania. In the 1350s Moldavia, the original Moldova territory, was founded. I was a vassal of the Ottoman Empire from 1558 until the 19ty century. It became part of Russia in 1812 during one of the Russian-Turkish wars.. During the break up of the USSR in 1991 it gained independence as a republic.
Moldova has a checkered political history, having a unique fortress and primitive cave churches. Agriculture is its most productive export, as is wine. Tourism of its natural heritage seems to be a secret of this country, named for a river and its famous beloved hunting dog.
Many nations are burdened by child and women slavery. This must go in Moldova and from all nations for all civilized people. Women everywhere have proved they are the most dedicated in removing this crime in nations where it exists. It would behoove women in Moldova to start a strong group for itself, women and children and for a profitable tourism. This would also greatly decrease its poverty.
