What was the military thinking? President Truman knew Japan was going to surrender. It was years later that America learned he planned to use these genocidal weapons that even the top inventors would never recommend for human beings. Is it true that Harry Truman wanted to use the Japanese people to test them? Unfortunately to justify evil genocide on people of a different rellgion and color is itself evil. Americans called them yellow japs?. Was he that naive to think that only the military installations would be damaged with no deaths to innocent people? After the Japanese civilians had their skin pealing from their bodies and walking on stumps for feet as they gasped for air and water, he did not apologize, even to the children. And to make matters worse, after he committed such genocide and suffering he said, "I would do it again."
