DON'T LET YOUTHS READ WHAT PLATO, BORN IN 429 B.C.E., BELIEVED

Dear Ones. Plato, one of the most astute thinkers of all times, believed in advancement of fresh ideas often squelched by sectarian authoritarians. He was ahead of his time regarding wisdom. His world was caught up in fear and superstition that provoked burning of babies on bonfire (originally bone fire) alters and young women thrown off cliffs. Young men were also sacrificed as burnt offerings on battlefields to appease imagined gods in the sky. In short, his creed was to create a good government,a better one than ever before. Youths, beware of corrupt politics. Be super innovators creating peace in a war-torn world. By the way, Plato, like Socrates his mentor, questioned everything. Both great men believed education was quintessential for young people, as well as government–the best road map to a happy, safer world.
