No loyal member of the three related religions stemming back to Abraham in BCE will admit their branch is one of the culprits. There's nothing wrong with believing your own religion is the best. Everyone has the human right to conform to their own faith. That is a given!
But when each of the Big Three uses their religion for the power of politics that trigger faith wars and terrorism, the cause of ingrained violence is transparent and wrong.
The oldest of the three faiths, Hebrews, never proselytize as do Christians originally through the Pauline New Testament (that they tacked on to the Hebrew Bible) that condemns Jews for killing Jesus of Nazareth, a Jew–what eventually erupted in the diabolical Holocaust. But Jews still believe what Abraham's wife, Sarah, proclaimed, "no child from my husband's illicit affair will inherit his property "meaning the descendants of Ishmael, whose mother was Hagar, Sarah's slave, as Ishael's descendants are Muslims.
The second oldest of the three faiths, Christians,s till follow the Great Commission to over power Earth with their religion, as they did with the divine Manifestation Destiny against First Americans to take their land and resources. In the minds of Christians, the Commission fuels missionaries to plant churches globally against the will of foreign nations. And all churches shirk their civic duty in sharing the burden through property taxes. If they would be responsible in this respect there would be no national debt.
The youngest of the three faiths, Muslims, were the most magnanimous since when the Big Three were killing one another to gain top billing, they allowed Christians and other faiths to carry on their own belifs. But after so much power to convert to Christianity, Muslims broke down and proselytize in modern times.
The Jews and Christians have power houses storing nuclear bombs and missiles, the Palestinians have none, as both nations threaten to bury one another. However, Israeli obviously has the most power.
The most worldly scholarly branch has been the Muslims, even allowing women power. But the extremist Jihadists are still living in the seventh century with Jews and Christian moderates reformed. Christians no longer conduct bloody Crusades (meaning cross) and torturous Inquisition that killed non-believers. Now moderate Muslims must control their own terrorists with a movement to reform, as did Jews, although they still believe in the man-made first commandant commanding only one Jewish god allowed on Earth.
This is the three-pronged fork that still pokes viciousness of violence worldwide by extremist sectarianism. And it's the preachers of rivalry who continue terrorist messages century after century, week after week from their bully pulpits that have conditioned and programmed their members to believe in absolutism instead of the good word of their three prophets. Evangelical bully pulpits peddle their endless broadcasts that trigger endless wars, even on national highways their biased billboard advertising state, "Only through Jesus Christ can you be saved." Historic Jesus didn't even know what the wold "Christ" meant. He like the other Jews were looking for a Messiah.
For the above reasons it is quintessential that religious politics must be separated from governments that gives power to fighting religions. Only secular governments have the power to be neutral. The separation of church and state is constitutional, as advised by America's founding fathers.
