HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO DRAIN A POLITICAL SWAMP?

It's nearly impossible in an ingrained status quo establishment to drain the corruption out of political wastelands. T. S Eliot wrote in The Wastelands poem–

"The river sweats oil and tar as the barges drift with the turning tide . . .
trams and dusty trees . . . Dry bones can harm no one."

Some people may interpret this phrases as futuristic.  The hidden words within Eliot's poem shed light for no more archaic wars in which youths suffer the most and the longest.

Perhaps America the beautiful is at last turning toward a landmark change for the better of the people–first.  As Alexander Pope said, "Hope springs eternal."
