The present undeclared war with the presumed Islamic State, ISIS is a battle of political and religious ideology between sectarian Muslim Sunnis and Muslim Shiites. Why is America taking sides in a civil war as the innocents are all caught between the cross-fire" What opened Pandora's Box of treachery was the 2003 reckless Bush war supported by Hillary Clinton. This was the fuel for destabilizing the Middle East. It's called hatred, hated, hatred as extremist jihadists' minds hate the civilized world, especially the LGBT community or anyone who doesn't believe in the religion of Islam. These are extremist religionists, quite the opposite from moderate reasonable Muslims who detest their own fanatics, too.
In all three mainstream Semite (Jesus was a Hebrew) related religions, there are extremist men who make up their own laws in which women and children suffer the most. The the vast Roman Empire Inquisition took centuries of bloody crusades until they were overcome. But at last the Holy Office was tamed for reform. Now it's overtime for the extremist part of Islamic religion to reform and come to its senses. By the way it was G. W. Bush who first said not to use the term "extremist Muslims. Why not, since the term itself defines it as a separate entity?
It will take decades to defeat the ideology extremist Islam and its beheading and killing anyone who is gay. Fighting an ideology is futile and takes decades to get over it, such as the Vietnam War in combat with communism, that still rules certain nations.
In the Vietnam War the Northern Vietnamese Army defeated the Southern Vietnamese Army in 1975. It ended with President Johnson but under the administration of President Nixon. Otherwise that war would still be a roaring ring of fire.
Why is America leading this Middle Eastern fight when all nations must be sharing the over a million dollar bill a day cost as Jihadists target America? When the US assumes the responsibility for being the co-honchos of drones and bombs, internationally among the entire world of nations accountable in subduing ISIS politically. Why can't leaders in power realize wars aren't won by the corporate industrial military exporting its death around the world? In the end it is love that makes the world go around, not lethal ammunition that is destroying Earth with accumulation of toxic emissions of carbon, with war its largest producer. It's not guns that kill, it's the mentality of those pulling the trigger to release the lethal ammo. It's anger over no jobs for working class people, hatred over governments that use aggression and force to keep war economy rolling through corporate industrial military complexes. It's toxic, radioactive ammunition that kills and causes combat parents to bear deformed babies on both sides of any war. Individual freedom is taken over by corruption. It's revenge of any nation attacking another nation through bombs that boomberang with hatred and anger. It's religioius wars that refuse to end from one generation to another.
