This latest atrocity against humanity in Orlando Florida.is fueled by radical leaders who are ignorant of their own religious history. When the world weeps over these senseless egregious crimes it is time to teach radical religiosity in schools, as wars were taught, otherwise America especially will be in the dark grieving from the unknown. Meanwhile, its the extreme far right radicals who want to teach theology instead of history in schools, which they do in private institutions.
Lest we forget it was the bloody Crusades (cross-bearing) and torturous fanatic Inquisition that kept the Roman Empire in fear of terrorism and violence from their own powerful Pauline leaders. The United States still harbors Ku Klux Klan radical religionists disguised in sheets with red crosses on them. These secretive loose cannon conspirators causing deaths and brutality to people with more protective pigment from sun rays than the criminals, were originally known as White Christian Knights.
Mussolini even gave land for the Vatican to become the richest most controlling religion of all. But now its the youngest branch of the Abraham Semite religions who must be tamed from their extremist Taliban, Al Qaeda and ISIS terrorism and violence-and also what's going on between Israel and Palestinians who are still suffering in Jewish refugee camps.
We all must look inward toward our own inherited religions to see the extremist persuasions of the world that are keeping the innocents trapped between the gun fire. The gay community is targeted by radical clergy still preaching that their faith is the best and the only one that promises heavenly reward for their belief. The far right preachers also program their members into thinking gays are criminals, quite the opposite of what they are. I mourn with them from their loses, so sad and sorrowful.
