In October1995 I was aghast to hear about the murder of American African Jonny Gammage, a successful professional business man and cousin of a Steeler football lineman who had lent him his red sports car. It was a dark night on a windy rainy road when five policemen stopped him. His immediate impulse was to grab his phone since dark complexioned men were being stopped for no reason. But they knocked him down and jumped him as he was pressed on the ground and couldn't move as most of the cops beat him badly.
I knew these policemen had a bad reputation of racism. A close friend who was a relative of one of them used to tell me how these bad actors calling American Africans niggers and abused them when ever that got the chance.
These thugs were not properly arrested and prosecuted for the murder of Jonny Gammaage. So I called coroner Cyril Wecht of Pittsburgh. He told me the victim was smothered to death as he was beaten.
Ever since this tragedy I have noticed the same brutal behavior toward American Africans. The only way to stop this ongoing racism is to incarcerate the villains and charge them enough money until they hurt their wallets.
Needless to say there are thousands of good policemen, but the rogue cops must be held accountable and not get away with any more murders, the evil ghosts of lynching still in America's minds as innocent people are killed under the pseudo name of law. America must change to create law and order for civility and human rights
