As a follower of this senator ever since he was a frequent guest on the Thom Hartmann radio show and TV I still am a loyal supporter of him due to similar beliefs:
1. The pharmaceutical drug bonanza in favor of the pharmas has got to reduce outlandish expenses to stressed patients. It is a crime. Besides, legal drugs kill more people than illegal ones. This is a social crime
2. Insurance agencies are also playing with patents' money. They are the only ones who are winners, with the bottom and top lines=$$$$$$. This is a social crime.
3. If the government would spend money on infrastructure–roads, pot-holes, bridges, etc. there would be well-paying jobs for everyone. Another bonus would be funding for America and our people versus futile wasted wars. We are not the police of the world as we bomb civilians and break nuclear proliferation with radioactive weaponry such as bombastic nuclear missiles. This is a war crime.
