LIFE OF MORTALS IS BITTER-SWEET CHOCOLATE LIKE A LAYERED CAKE–ALTERNATING BETWEEN HAPPINESS AND GRIEF

Eliphalet Oram Lyte composed the nursery rhyme Row, Row, Row Your Boat Gently Down the Stream. The composer and grammar teacher born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania was in combat soldier during the American Civil War.  He saw and experienced the madness of toxic wars that no young person should ever have to live through, with most dying from the aftermath as well as the slaughter. Many early children's songs have historical tragic meanings.  This tune is one of them.

Life is a metaphor, like a stream running into oceans so deep, symbolizing up and down emotions of world ancient seas filled with wept tears from neanderthal man to the present humanity. The lyrics are simple, yet so profound.

"Row, row, row your boat gently down the steam–merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily life is but a dream."

T's better to dream of peace instead of war. Wear life like a loose cape and be happy and enjoy the good as much as we can, until our eternal spirits are swept to the clouds through winds of war. Unfortunately the citizen has a difficult time with overpowering forces destroying Earth's environment and everything that matters for humanity to survive. Therefore we all must be vigilant and work for international peace that doesn't cause America to lose trillions more funds–time for another peace movement.

"THERE IS NO WAY A COUNTRY CAN SATISFY THE CRAVING FOR ABSOLUTE SECURITY.  BUT  IT CAN BANKRUPT ITSELF MORALLY AND ECONOMICALLY. IN ATTEMPTING TO REACH THAT ILLUSORY GOAL THROUGH ARMS ALONE, PEOPLE IN THE LONG RUN ARE GOING TO DO MORE TO PROMOTE PEACE THAN OUR GOVERNMENT. ONE OF THESE DAYS GOVERNMENT HAD BETTER GET OUT OF THEIR WAY AND LET THEM HAVE PEACE."
