Arun Gandhi, the fifth grandson of Mohandas Gandhi, Mahatma the great one, represents a legend still enlightening and illuminating planet Earth. He is a modern-day activist for a special value called non-violent peace, learned from his grandfather. He encourages daily conscientious thinking, the quintessential position for education and nurturing, especially for women and girls in a world in which the distaff side remains subservient to men. Females must learn to be independent, healthy and strong through support.
I understand for defense of the United States, we must keep our powder dry, but polluting the world with over-kill toxic arsenals on land, in seas and in the air drain nations and smothers them in nuclear and ammo power keeping all forms of life in gross peril with their cancerous waste alone, what nations dump on others. It is the fair sex, not war mongers, who want world justice through academic support, learning and enrichment. In return it will ease her path that includes lost of men through genocidal endless wars. She must become the bread winner as well as the teacher of her children.
Arun Gandhi's grandfather emphasized we will have a kinder more civilized society with women leadership to help her children. His grandfather taught him, "Communication skills and ways to deal with conflict are critical for universal peace. This grand master said, "Eye-for-eye justice does not mean revenge," the Goddess Nemesis like the "pink bunny" that keeps going on and on for centuries without end. He added, "Justice means transforming the opponent through love," which also may mean suffering.
Mahatma Gandhi had a great vision for an empowered non-violent non-terrorism world, what he passed on to his family and to Earth itself. His motto was, "Be the change you want in the world. Individual efforts make a big difference in creating a world without violence because it is ourselves through our uncontrolled emotions and actions that we must be curtailed, what will make the difference." When we follow good patterns we pass on to our children a better life style, our only hope for a better tomorrow.
