A very dear friend recently lost her beloved husband who also is greatly grieved and missed by the friends he has. His wife wanted to know how he died. She was given no real answer until she diligently researched into this deadly problem thoroughly. She was recently on TV in Jacksonville, FL
The answer to her question revealed that female blood donors who have had more than two pregnancies have antibodies in their blood that can kill a man. Yet very few people are aware of this shocking fact. Present forms at blood banks don't mention that abortions and miscarriages count as pregnancies. One can't help but wonder how many trali deaths happened in the past, with people not knowing what killed their loved ones.
This knowledge won't bring back my friend's husband. But all she wants the blood banks to do is make it clear on their blood donor forms that women having had more than two pregnancies can cause deaths . The more pregnancies makes the rate of deaths increase from acute lung injury. Limited data on these deaths is another problem.
