In weeks before September 11, 200l the Royales of the Persian Gulf threatened that a terrible tragedy would happen to New York City and Washington, D.C. if the United States didn't remove its military bases from their land. The president at that time ignored these words and instead planned to invade, attack and occupy Iraq, what cracked open a hornet's nest in the Middle East.
The reason for this aggression on a secular nation that never attacked us was the excuse that Iraq had nuclear weapons, proved to be false. The underlying mission for carpet bombing that nation to smithereens with nuclear warheads was for control of oil through taking over Iraq and Afghanistan in the Middle East–now broken, what we bought, in the words of Collin Powell. Meanwhile George Bush promised he would catch the 911 culprit. But it was Barack Obama's administration that finally made this happen, not by bombing entire nations to catch one world criminal, but through intelligence and the Navy instead.
Because of surprise attack under more innovated methods of world aggression, patriot homeland security is impossible to prevent. It is impossible to protect masses of people shocked by sudden explosions that not only kill and harm all forms of life but also contaminate Earth. This is why the heinous tragedy of September 11, 200l happened. All the most powerful weaponry and stored atomic bombs that make nations even more vulnerable, are useless as well as illegal to International Law and its Criminal Court. This is quite obvious when we consider that the most potent fire power in the United States did not deter this gross catastrophe.

I was with a group of people watching a football game and no one commented or even noticed the crawl going across the TV screen stating this horror was about to happen. However the president was negligent in addressing the problem of unwanted military stations–once wanted but now detested. And the atrocious suicide attack on America became a nightmare of reality. All the pilots were Saudi Arabian and funded by the royal family. At that time the U.S. government kept secret the funding, untul recent news.
The military stresses out and control's with the highest power any president who attempts a change of strategy to prevent more carnage and suffering. I am grateful of President Barack Obama and John Kerry for keeping the promise to the American people about not sending ground troops into middle East.
If it happens it will be the Pentagon that has the most control and force in the government, always using a military non-solution instead of diplomacy and negotiation when it comes to endless religious wars and their counter attacks of revenge, even caused by missionaries sent into foreign lands where they aren't wanted and are killed. Naturally we all want to take revenge over subhuman acts. But this short lived. There are healthier and more humanitarian solutions that our president is trying to use heroically. But America is not the police force of Earth.
It is good that other nations are ow in a coalition with each other to use their own troops to stop inhumane acts triggered by religion dogmas that behead and burn people alive. At last the world is waking up to primitive bloody man-made indoctrination continuing in urban war zones today.
U.S. military bases all around the world, often abandoned and left without any cleanup, supported by taxpayers, are real problems to the environment–leaking gas, oil and toxic chemicals as well as radioactive war machines made of non-depleted uranium from nuclear waste causing genocide of deformed babies.
Since not even the president, the Pentagon or the U.S. military know how many expensive armed forces stations American taxpayers support, we all have a right to make an estimation as to what is sucking up our hard-earned wages. My intuition tells me there are over 5,000.
