Both nations threaten to exterminate one another, but only one of the two countries have the ability to do it. What ever happened to power nations destroying their nuclear capability? What isn't the media giving a regular account of of this activity in the news so the people can hear this progress.
Actually, no nation should ever have nuclear access, especially by any mortal in charge of the fate of entire Earth among all the millions of galaxies–the only planet we know of that has all forms of life–our only homeland that war lords keep blowing up as they hate one another for rival racial and religious reasons.
