WHY DID JAPANESE FIGHTER ACE , KANAME HARADA, BECOME A PACIFIST?

The biggest irony of mankind is that the Earth and its people cry out for peace, but corporate government industrial war department economies globally continue to train young people to hate and kill or be killed? In other words the most powerful nations really don't want international peace, which is blatant hypocrisy from the start. The warlords and their lobbyists rule the world as they are still still hung up in imperialism. They try to make pacifists into demeaning targets of ridicule. Is this what Christians believe Jesus was?–one of the world's greatest peacemaker prophets, along with Mahatma Gandhi.

The WW II Japanese air man had shot  down many American and allied airplane one after another, Soon Kaname had become a hero in his nation, its top combat pilot. Then he himself was brought down in a dog fight over Guadalcanal and was badly injured. His last career was in training kamikaze pilots. He then became a farmer with endless nightmares about the men he had killed, typical of all feeling combat soldiers,  what also causes suicides among soldiers.  He said, "I didn't hate them or even knew them." It was typical of fighting men  such as one in the battle on Hamburger Hill in Vietnam. As he looked at a dead Japanese soldier he had killed  in a fox hole, he looked into his glazed over eyes and shed tears of remorse knowing the dead man was a father and husband himself by the photos of his lived ones he pulled out of the pocket of the Vietnamese man.

During the Gulf War Kaname  heard naive teenagers talking about the combat as though it was a video war game.  He then decided to go on tour to teach peace, what he said was the  "best way to protect our children and our children's children from the horrors of war." He resigned to be a peace maker unequivocally. Mr, Harada said, "I realized the war had turned me into a killer of men. That was not the the kind of person I wanted to be."

Today two leading presidential candidates, neither one of them well-liked, are duking it out oblivious to Bernie Sanders, who is beloved to all, young and old.  His message rings clear as a clarion bell the issues he held all his adult life–his dedication to the American people that bring us to our senses that archaic wars are so powerful with radioactive nuclear missiles and toxic contaminating weaponry that Earth and its people are now being polluted with the carbon, with wars the grossest result  of man-made combat along with endless lines of suffering refugees, Wars are also the largest gas guzzlers.

Meanwhile, it took a Japanese man, whose land was also bombed with over 100,000 of his people killed in genocide to make us see that obsession to sacrifice youths in futile religious civil wars is one of the worst sins of man. Thank goodness Bernie Sanders is a peace-maker.
