This president and the Federal regulatory agency within the Department of the Interior acted intentionally in cahoots with one another even the First Americans had no intention of waging any war. This coalition lied to Congress and the American people. Together they provoked and pushed the peaceful Indians into a corner through nefarious fraud in dealing with the Plains people. The federal government deliberately provoked them into conflict to gain thousands of acreage by breaking the 1868 Laramie Treaty, one of over 400 treaties the feds broke. This particular treaty declared "from this day forward all war between the parties to this agreement shall forever cease." Under this condition all the present-day South Dakota land west of the Missouri River, including the Black Hills, the great Lakota Reservation will have absolute and undisturbed use and occupation–off limits. Meanwhile gold frenzy miners pushed their way into these Black Hills. Maj. Gen, George Crook, well-named for the job, was responsible for carrying the chicanery. These "wasichus" meaning "whites" ignored human rights and legal treaties as they freely killed and whipped the original First Americans, This non-elected regulatory department is the worse one in the history of the federal governent to this day" In 1980 the to the tune of $1 billion dollars the feds tried to buy off the Indians, under the pretense of "divine manifest destiny" as if the lustful politicians were hearing the voice of a deity in their heads, still manifest to this day. Meanwhile these First Americans will not be bought out. They want their original land instead, according to the 1868 treaty!
