History is harsh as it reminds us of sinister carnage regarding the three Semitic rival branches of one dysfunctional family still trying to kill one another off as the bombs and fighting continue to send up clouds of carbon smoke with centuries-old religious "holy" wars–the most common and most lethal gas guzzlers on global record today. The Crusader Roman Catholic Inquisition exterminated through torture anyone who refused to conform even at the threat of a sword in Italy, France and Spain where the king and queen threw out all Jews before Christopher Columbus left with his red cross sails to find a new route to the East. The holy extremist sentence was torture and burning people alive at the stake since the church did not allow spilling of blood. The reason why European colonists left Europe was Catholic Anglican persuasion by force compelling them to escape this inhumane crime. (see post called Torguemada, named for the grand evil inquisitor of the Roman Catholic Church).
Today modern Jihad Muslim inquisitioners from the youngest Semitic branch, also have a record for killing their own members and others as they copy the historic hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church. Thank goodness for Pope Frances who is reforming this institution. It's the richest with the most corrupt history as demented priests still molest young people physically and psychologically while they pit childhood friends against one another. These men coerced by inhuman celibacy teach that non Catholics will burn in hell forever or else be separated from their god, the later what Protestants (protesters) now believe centuries after the Reformation.
The publication Pocket Bible Hand Book by Henry H. Halley records the history of the church and list of popes, many corrupt. But the Holy office now under a euphemistic title, won't allow its members to read such a book as this–another human rights abuse of censorship. People who are Catholic are for the most part good people. But the church, from the time infants are baptized, alter minds through constant weekly programming and conditioning. This happens in Protestant churches and Muslim Mosques, too. The moral teaching attributed to Jesus has gone by the wayside.
Meanwhile under G.W. Bush Camp Bucca was formed in Iraq, the prison from Hell, Inside were hundreds of rounded up Muslims with many not having been charged of any crime in the dragnet. The young men became hardened and viciously angered by their inhumane treatment which led to Guantanamo Bay concentration camp in Cuba. And the former president and its connivers of war crimes got away with murder and hatred with oily hands mixed through it all. And the Inquisition and its Tribunal started by a priest named Dominica in the 12th century reigns again, not through Christians, but this time through Jihadists.
By the way, the Hebrew people were never involved in forced converting of human beings called heretics another name for non-believers who in America are treated with respect and dignity, –such as Mark Twain, Samuel Clemens who believed in peace as seen through his Prayer For War, a famous satire.
