Despite this truth Judeo-Christians (united by same Hebrew Bible) stubbornly continue to call America a Christian nation. They also believed church going was a virtue. They hijacked international principles as "Christian." They stole the international spring and winter holidays for their own, Easter (beginning of spring with Easter goddess of spring and new growth) and Christmas (the beginning of winter).
The misnomer of America being Christian is very dangerous as ISIS and other splinter groups of hatred, as was the bigoted KKK in the U.S., have had super supremacist power. Therefore this danger must never be forced down people's throats again. We must reject sinister dogma of the church leading the government, what makes us all very vulnerable. The United States no longer is one of the three blood feuding branches of the Semite religion–Jewish, Christian and Muslim Instead we are a free democracy that allows thousands of religions and belief systems and even those who do not subscribe to any deadly battling law religions.
We are just asking for terrorism, what the entire vast Roman Empire had to suffer through for centuries, if we don't stop the anrrogancy of one faith. Do we and our descendants intend to suffer through more centuries of Jihadist Muslim violence and terrorism as our ancestors did during the Crusades and torturous Inquisition.
For the sake of us all America is not a Christian nation. We've been there and done that. Thinking people aren't going to get into the chaos of fighting other people's religious civil wars any more. We all must work together to subdue the Jihadists but with more original ways instead of bombing innocent people all over Earth to shoot a few bad apples out of the water. Christianity is now tamed down and so will Islam, too. Young people are sick of rival wars and being sacrificed in puddles of blood for politician's hollow victories. The victors don't want any more of the spoils.
