Winston Churchill advised less war, war, war and more jaw, jaw, jaw. The Obama Administration attempted to wean die hards off war instead of more accumulation of corporate industrial warfare and greenhouse gases. Let those wanting endless war to put on their own steel-toed boots and march onward like Christian soldiers to war. There would be plenty of shouting and drum roll parades to cheer them on.

Real defense is avoidance of war with check and balance for peace, wherein the Peace Corp must receive the same salaries, benefits, epaulets and ribbons as the Armed Forces, all of whom are employed in dangerous jobs. With such equity across the board in the game of war, less wars would greatly reduce the national debt and allow for more domestic infrastructure maitenance–even free secular educaation.
