WHAT DID BASHAR AL-ASSAD REALLY SAY AGAOMST U.S. MILITANT FOOTRINTS IN SYRIA?

This Syrian president said he didn't want U.S. troops on his soil since the controversy isn't only the military but about American politics, too. He went on to proclaim we must have our own troops. This land is ours. our own nation. We haven't asked for American troops at all.  We are the ones responsible for our country. What we do want to see is more pressure on Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar to stop supporting rebels. Also,  we want legal cooperation from our government for U.S. attacks on Syria. Right now these tactics are unlawful. In other words, he wants to have more diplomacy.
